Pro Lovell affiliation completed

We are really pleased to announce that as of the 11th August 2021, Pro Lovell Futsal is now an Affiliated Club of the Essex County F.A, playing under the name of Pro Lovell Athletic Youth F.C or simply put, PLAY FC.

It has long been the ambition for the club to gain such an affiliation and the news now means our teams can begin competing in the South East Futsal League (SEFL).

Head coach Matt Lovell was delighted with the news and looks forward to competing from September this year in the SEFL;

I'm so pleased we have been able to manage this in such a short space of time, I'm so thankful to all those involved behind the scenes, from Paul Sheath (Club Secretary), Phil Dunk (Club Treasurer) and Beth Lovell (Club Welfare Officer) and of course the players who have been a pleasure to coach throughout. With our first squad of U9 and U10's entering the U10 SEFL I can't wait to see how much more their game develops playing in competitive matches. Hopefully our other squads will be in the league soon too and from here we can continue our growth plans throughout 2021 and 2022. The future is bright, the future is Futsal.

Pro Lovell Futsal started in late 2019 and has overcome the struggles of COVID-19 which saw it's centres close for the best part of 15 months from March 2020. Having reopened the doors in May 2021, everyone involved has been working hard to move the affiliation along so our teams can begin competing in SEFL.

We're pleased to announce that our first squad entering SEFL will be our U9/10 group mixed in the U10 league, who will play every other Thursday from September through to April.

Our mixed U11/12 are on the waiting list to join the U12 SEFL and we hope for them to enter the league soon too.
